(also known as Ktien to their friends) is primarily interested in the morphosyntax of languages and in Generative typology. As a former Research Associate at the Centre for Endangered Languages, Sikkim University, they have worked on some of the endangered languages from the Tibeto-Burman and Dravidian language families in India.

R Karthick Narayanan
is currently a Research Associate cum Digital Archivist at the Centre for Endangered Languages, Sikkim University, India. He recently submitted his PhD in Linguistics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His research interests include Sociolinguistics of Endangered Languages, Linguistic Ideologies, Language Documentation, Description, Archiving and Lexicography.
