We are a not-for-profit academic group that broadly seeks to provide support for the maintenance, revitalisation, and documentation of endangered languages; to raise awareness and provide policy intervention for these; and to promote research and academic activity.

Specifically, this translates as providing direct or indirect support to acquire financial, human, structural, and knowledge resources and building networks. We would seek to largely serve speakers of endangered languages, students and researchers working with communities of such speakers, and institutions and organisations that might require such support.

We are guided by an overarching philosophy of decolonizing the endangered language research space, through collaborative, ethical, discrimination-free work involving a diversity of voices, most importantly from members of communities most affected by language endangerment and loss.
